New Longhorn Lacrosse Officers Ushered In
Posted June 1, 2007

As Texas Longhorn Lacrosse begins looking ahead to the new horizons the coming season has to offer, the team will again be anchored by strong leadership from veteran upperclassmen both on the field and off. Before the end of the academic year, the team voted on a new set of officers to represent and carry out the duties of the club. Senior Ernst Leiss will return for his second consecutive year as team president, though he will be assisted by a new vice president in junior Evans Swann, who replaces Dennis Sukholutsky. Dennis will remain the webmaster for this, his senior year, and will be helping new webmaster Corey McKeon learn the ropes. Zac Wilson has stepped up to the integral treasurer position and Jay Perrett will fill a new position designed to facilitate alumni relations. RJ Broderick will return as the team liaison to UT Recsports. The director for the 2007 Longhorn Shootout high school and middle school tournaments is William Forrest, with Bryan Howe as his aide. Dennis Chang will be in charge of team apparel orders and sales, and Matt Aguilar will design and direct advertisement sales for the media guide to be issued at home games this coming year. Aaron Motsinger will lend his writing skills as the new press secretary, issuing game summary articles and drafting official team letters. Longhorn Lacrosse hopes that solidifying this group of leaders will be the first step towards a successful season to come. Hook ‘Em!
