Texas Prepared to Repeat as LSA Champions
Posted April 22, 2007

The weekend of April 28th, in Dallas, Texas, the teams of the Lone Star Alliance will descend upon Gerald Ford Stadium on the Southern Methodist University campus, all in hopes of securing the 2007 Conference Championship and a berth in the 2007 MCLA National Championship Tournament.

The Longhorns will face the Texas State Bobcats on Saturday the 28th at 1:30 PM.

The Texas A&M Aggies hold the position of the Southern Division #1 seed, and will play SMU following Texas’ game at 5:00 PM

The winners of the semifinal games will face off for the LSA Championship on Sunday, starting at 3:30 PM, with the trophy ceremony directly following the game. Two Longhorn wins this weekend would secure a second LSA Championship in as many years.

The Texas Longhorns would like to thank all the friends, family and fans of the Texas Lacrosse program whose donations and support have helped the team enjoy a successful season thus far. Continued support through the playoffs and in to the national championship in Frisco, Texas, will only help us go further and will be greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone who has donated their time and efforts to support the team, whose players have pledged to represent the University of Texas and its fans to the best of its abilities. We will strive to succeed in the coming weeks.
